Star Dome

Set on top of the hill between three green oaks, surrounding the main house, the village and the valley, the Stars Dome will harbor two nature-orientated guests. It is made of triangles of different construction woods: pine, Douglas pine, larch wood, and cedar. The queen size bed (160 cm x 200 cm) faces the five triangles large bay window. The pergola provides protection from the sun during the warmest hours during summer. Would you wish to observe the stars, an astronomical telescope and a sky map are available, just ask us! And as lights in the darkest night, solar and dynamo lamps are at your disposal. They have a USB socket so you can use them to charge the battery of your phone, for example.

In the morning, the breakfast basket will await you in the very heart of the green oak, who casts a cool shadow table set on a patio made of chestnut logs, a perfect place to enjoy your first meal, with the first lights coming up in the valley bellow.

The dry toilets, the solar shower and the watering place nearby are for your exclusive use, in a quite intimate corner, outside, but very close to the dome. Standard toilets are also available; you can access them from the main house patio (50m from the dome, with a 20m drop).

Some stairs made with dry stones, a small path, and a “calade”: a sunken path paved with small pebbles… you have arrived to the wooden Star Dome.
